This contract was awarded to us with a very tight 38 day deadline! Blue Origin is Jeff Bezos space company located north of Van Horn, Tx. My welding mentor and I did the 2,100 lbs stainless feather ourselves with civil engineering specs followed during fabrication and for installation. Our crew (Marfa Cement Works) did the concrete fabrication. I (Belle Peña) did every part of this job from the steel & concrete fabrication in addition to the landscape and multi-day installation. We are grateful to have completed this job 3 days before the deadline thanks to our crew!
